*Directing the City Manager to develop a plan for signage and recognition of the late John Jones at the John Jones Navigation Center, including signage displaying the facility's full name, a portrait or likeness of Mr. Jones, and consultation with the Jones family; Directing that the plan, estimated costs, and implementation timeline be presented to the City Commission no later than December 10, 2026; Providing that no design or expenditure is approved by this Resolution; Directing the City Manager to update the City Commission no later than December 10, 2026 on the public artwork planned for the John Jones Navigation Center, in accordance with Section 2-487 of the City of Key West Code of Ordinances.
